June was raised in Maui, and grew up in the jungle part of Haiku. They are passionate about all kinds of science (especially space), and different types of art! They spend a lot of their free time playing D&D, experimenting with new recipes, and walking their dog Riley. 

 

This is June’s first year at Upward Bound, but they have experience as a counselor in Camp Imua and the HI STAR science camp. They’re excited to start off this summer with you all!
