George Reising is a High School STEM educator based in Seward, Alaska.

George has built T3’s growth mindset, design thinking, and community engagement pillars into his courses.  His students learn project management and have addressed real community needs as part of their curriculum.  Projects include: collecting and processing aerial imagery data from UAV for their flood board; growing produce for the school using Raspberry Pi controlled hydroponic systems; designing energy saving solutions for the school/community; and monitoring winter bird populations in Resurrection Bay.
